HS GPA Calc ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what happens to information when you use hsgpacalc.com.

Information you enter

The class names, grades, credits and settings you enter into the calculator are stored only in your browser using localStorage. They are not sent to our servers, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data or using the Reset button removes them.

Share links and exports

If you use Copy Link, your entries are encoded inside the link itself. Anyone who has the link can see those entries, so share it only with people you trust. CSV exports are created on your device.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages viewed. It does not receive the grades or class details you enter into the calculator. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or learn more at Google's advertising policies. The grades you enter are never shared with advertisers.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and analytics are provided by Google Analytics. Google may receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads, according to Google's own policies.

Children

The calculator is designed for students, and it doesn't ask for any personal information such as names, emails or ages.
